PARADE IN SAN ANTONIO, JUNE 17, 1919
Showing: Major Hall Etter, Lieut. C. B. Cox and troops of Company A.

Houston was reached the early morning of June 16.  It was the realization of the hopes of
a year.  They were at home at last.  The friends and relatives had journeyed from far and near to
welcome and do homage to their returning heroes.  As the trains pulled into the station they were
noisily greeted by the booming of cannon and the shrieking of every whistle in the city of
Houston.
