Another Tough Ombre has answered the Call of Taps.

I was informed today by John Rossick's daughter, Carole, that John passed away on April 7, 2011.

John was one of the original members of Co.K at Camp Barkley. He was later wounded twice in combat and remained with Co.K thru most of the war.

I met John and his wife, Evelyn, in Periers in 2000 at the Monument Dedication. He was a great guy who loved to laugh and always had that mischevious look in his eye.

John, you will be missed. God bless you and rest in peace.
