Dear Don,

Jack E. Ammons, C. Co 357th IR, had said that Captain Proesbstel said that "C. Co was the best damned rifle company in the 90th Division". I'm looking for any information about him. Hope you could help me. Take Care. Vincent

Captain Proebstel, only in his 20's, was a fearless leader of 357/C. He cared for his men and kept his CP close to the action.
