Hi Thomas - I read your post regarding your father's wounding....the 90th, including the 343rd FA, was in the hedgerow country in Normandy on June 23, 1944.....the first Moselle crossing by the 90th didn't occur until November 9, 1944....the distance is several hundred kilometers between the two areas.
