Notes from the President

Amy and I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday period.

The Association Newsletter was mailed out just before Christmas, so by now everyone should have received their copy.

 My last emailing had about 100 names on the list, but about 15 of them were returned., either I typed the wrong address or individuals had changed their server.  From the current Newsletter, I picked out another 30 some names and addresses. 

As I mentioned in the previous email, I am using Blind Copy, so only your email address shows.  I will remove any names upon request.  (So far, the response for an email letter has been positive.)

 I am sure most of you got Henri's Epistle and Christmas Greetings.  What he does for World War II veterans (especially the 90th) and their families is just unbelieveable.  Henri,  Thank you for what you are doing.

 Now that the New Year has begun, we will be making more plans for the reunion this August.  The newsletter, had some information, but we would like input from the members on what you would like.  Please contact me or Jim Reid, with your ideas.

The next newsletter will be published by May.  Jim Reid needs input by the middle of April.  Anything anyone sends me via email, will also be sent on to him for inclusion.

 Remember we have a Facebook page.  I noted a couple of recent posts.  I am attaching an old photo from one of the numerous scrapbooks of Mom and Dad.  This one must have been on "Open House Day" at Camp Barkley.  Mom, my sister, Gretchen and I in front of one of 105's of the 343rd.
